Chris Leeman / Store Manager

Chris has been a manager at the Falls Village Feed & Gift store for over 10 years. He is very passionate about his work and this passion is fueled by the strong bonds he shares with his customers. Chris takes the responsibility of meeting the needs of the pets he serves by being very knowledgeable and proud of the products he sells. He would never sell anything to you that he would not give to his dog "Leroy" and often his dog has test marketed the product before it ever hits our selves.

Chris spends hours each month staying current on market trends including any safety recalls and new product developments. Chris welcomes each pet personally as they trot through the doors completely taken by the yummy smells and colorful engaging toys. It is no secret our store is successful because of Chris's love for what he does each day.

Chris lives in East East Hartland, CT and is an active member in his church and in the community at large. He is always looking for ways to give back and this is reflected in the fundraisers he supports thru the store and in his own personal life. When Chris is not at the store making pet's lives better, he is at home with his wife, two children and family dog "Leroy".

Dr. Dave & Cindy Sandefer / Owners

Dr. Dave and Cindy Sandefer had a vision of creating an environment where pets could have all their needs met in one place. They wanted to create a welcoming setting where pets loved to come and felt like they were deeply cared for by every person who served them. Having a team of caring professionals who understand and love your pet from their early years to their senior years allows pets to live long healthy lives. This is the ultimate goal that drives the daily decisions Dr. Dave and Cindy make in creating a healing medical center for pets. Their vision began to take physical form when they opened the doors to the Sand Road Animal Hospital, LLC in November of 1989. A few years later they built the Falls Village Feed & Gift Store which opened in 1991. They recognized that quality nutrition is the foundation of optimal health. It has always been Dr. Dave and Cindy objective to educate their clients about how nutrition plays a key role in assisting the body to heal and remain in balance, bringing optimal joy and vitality to the pet. The Falls Village Feed & Gift Store puts premium diets in the hands of caring pet parents just a few feet away from our veterinary doors. Dr. Dave and Cindy remain very passionate about their commitment to building personal relationships with each client and pet that walks through their door. We look forward to you becoming part of our "practice family" and thank you for the privilege of serving you and your pets.
